This hiking tour will bring you through the relaxing resort and energizing Blue Hills in Ogre. This town will amaze you as it is truly magnificent every season! Less than an hour away from the capital you can enjoy a wonderful hike through the Blue Hills, Dubkalnu quarry, enjoy the main part of the town center and see the 3rd longest river in Latvia. During this hike, you will enjoy freedom in nature and the coziness of the town.
What to expect from this hike? Trails will lead you through the hills of the forest where you will be able to enjoy a breathtaking view of the Blue Hills overlooking Ogre 90 meters above sea level. After a hike around the quarry where you will take in some unforgettable views, we’ll head back to the town to enjoy the coastal promenade and the bridges crossing the Ogre river. And we bet you want to know the history behind the adorable bear cub sculpture on the pedestrian street! You will find out this and much more during this adventurous hike!
