Magical sounds of the Kokle - Learn how to play it
Are you curious about exploring local folk music and instruments all around the world? Then this workshop is for you! A local folk musician will introduce you to the kokle, a traditional Latvian string instrument. Latvians have a saying that the kokle is given to us by God, but the bagpipes – by the Devil. It will take only a few seconds to understand why we say that. We can assure you that the kokle has one of the purest, most magical, and calming sounds among all the instruments you have ever heard. You will have an opportunity to lure out some ancient melodies from the kokle by yourself.
Neris Nature Park & Kernavė Hike
What is waiting for you on this day trip? A private tour to the mysterious fort hills and traces of ancient settlements dating back to 9000 years B.C. Ancient oak forest and deep forests in the Neris Regional Park. In Kernavė learn about first medieval capital of Lithuania and hear many stories and secrets about the largest and oldest surviving oak forests where pagans used to worship their gods.
Nemunas River Kayak Tours
On a private tour explore the largest river in Lithuania – Nemunas. The river at its mouth splits into several channels and enters Curonian Lagoon.
